Our Facilities

Walcott Street Surgical Centre
41 Walcott Street, Mount Lawley Western Australia 6050
Walcott Street Surgical Centre is a Department of Health (Level B) licensed and ACHS accredited facility, it is located within the “Old Church” at 41 Walcott Street, Mount Lawley, and has received some pioneering renovations to provide our four consulting rooms, two procedure suites, reception and patient waiting areas with a fresh modern twist, whilst still maintaining some of the unique architectural features.
Walcott Street Surgical Centre has strong links to The Park Private Hospital which is only a 5 minute walk away.

The facility is unique in its function as it provides subspecialist surgical services using light sedation or local anaesthetic for common medical conditions.

So what benefit is this to patients?

Procedures suites have been designed specifically to provide patients the opportunity to receive their treatment by specialist surgeons using the most up to date technology and techniques. We believe that giving patients the option of light sedation or Local Anaesthetic creates greater flexibility in their treatment planning.

Our surgeons also have close ties and admitting rights at The Park Private Hospital in Mount Lawley for those patients who may require General Anaesthetic.

Waiting time from consultation to treatment is considerably reduced - and due to the nature of light sedation or local anaesthesia, a patient’s recovery time is generally faster.
Free parking is available onsite - the entrance is off Curtis Street.

Disabled access - the building has wheelchair access via a ramp and a lift is available for elderly or disabled patients to gain access to our consulting rooms.

Close public transport with stops on Walcott Street and Beaufort Street. There is a train station within walking distance and several bus stops near by. If you need help with transport please contact the centre and we will try to assist.

Mount Lawley Train station being a 15 minute walk away - directions below.
1. Head south-west on Railway Parade toward Almondbury Rd.
2. Keep right at the fork.
3. Slight right onto Guildford Rd.
4. Turn right onto Walcott St.
5. Walk up Walcott Street to The Church on the corner of Walcott Street and Curtis Street Opposite Forrest Park Oval.
